County Kildare Chamber hosted (Thurs 29th June) a very successful business breakfast with 180 business leaders from throughout the county in attendance. This year, the guest speaker was John Teeling. John has established several companies in the oil, gas and resource sectors for more than three decades and is best-known as the founder of Cooley Distillery which he started in 1987. Allan Shine, CE of the Chamber said., “ We were delighted to secure such a high profile speaker and John engaged the room with his views on the global economy and his hugely successful career to date. Sponsors of this year’s event were Permanent TSB and The Osprey Hotel. Businesses in attendance included Kildare Village, Acumen and Trust, Colourtrend, PWC, Bord na Mona and Grant Thornton.
