Job Description

Experienced accounting technician required. The volume of work requires a strong full time Accounts Technician to provide accurate accounts on a timely basis for Management and the Board of Directors. You must have a proven track record of maintaining the accounting records of a business and the preparation of monthly management reports.  We are looking for a dynamic, strong accounts person to manage the day to day accounts of our business who has the experience and knowledge to excel in this role.

 

Responsibilities

 

Manage computerised accounts on a daily basis

Issue invoices and collect debtors

Process purchases and pay suppliers

Manage weekly and monthly payroll

Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow

Online completion of PAYE/PRSI/USC and VAT

Produce Trial balance, P&L and Balance Sheet

Produce financial management reports as required

Liaise with company accountant and auditor

Preparation of file for auditors

Liaise with government funding agencies

Prepare annual budgets

General business administration

Have competency with Excel and Word

Accounts Technician qualifications

Will have relevant experience in a similar environment

Must be capable of working on their own initiative in a dynamic organisation

Must have excellent attention to detail

Must have excellent communication skills
