Celbridge Manor Hotel launched their own limited edition beer on Thursday evening to celebrate Oktoberfest and a lucky few were given the first taste.
Working with the team at Rye River Brewery under the experienced eye of Michigan native and Head Brewer, Bill Laukitis, a special Oktoberfest Kölsch Lager was produced. Bill was the brainchild behind the creation taking influences from the local Kildare area with a Bavarian Twist.
This is the second initiative Celbridge Manor Hotel have embarked on with Rye River Brewery, following on from the ‘Crafternoon Tea Experience’ which was available for Father’s Day.
On speaking with the collaboration, Andy Greenslade who is Group Sales & Marketing Manager with Clann Hospitality said “Working with local suppliers, especially the excellent team at Rye River Brewery has been a very positive experience. We realise that as hotel, we are not a standalone entity and bringing in local partners to raise each other profiles and create unique customer experiences can only act as a benefit. I would like to thank Pamela Ryder, Joseph McNab and all the team at Rye River Brewery for making this possible”
Local business people and community groups were invited with music provided by the Storehouse Duo with a Festive Oktoberfest Menu on hand as well.
