Eurochambres Economic Survey 2020
As in previous years, Chambers Ireland will be participating in 27th edition of the annual Eurochambres Economic Survey 2020 (EES).
This qualitative study is based on a series of questions addressed and answered by over 45,000 company responses. Eurochambres, with the support of its members across Europe, seeks to capture both the expectations of the European business environment and the challenges it faces.
This year is of particularly importance to assess the major concerns for businesses, as the economy in which we operate has been performing well but has become increasingly volatile. On one hand, domestic demand is rising and European Union (EU) trade deals such as EU/Vietnam, have opened up new exporting opportunities for business. However, on the other hand, the UK’s departure from the EU, skills shortages and increased trade tensions, most notably between the US and China have created red tape and market uncertainty for enterprises across Europe.
This survey will ask a range of basic questions relating to business challenges, workforce development and sale expectations. As climate change and the associated risks are impacting the daily running of business, from supply chains to internal management, this year will feature one question related to your business taking actions in 2020 to transition to a low carbon economy.
In order to support these steps, we are honoured to invite you to take part in this year’s survey located below. The estimated time to complete this survey, should not take longer than 4 minutes to fill out. The deadline for completion is the 30th September 2019.
Once the study is complete, you will be able to access the results of the study in December on our website. To review last year’s EuroChambres Economic Survey, please click here.
