The Chamber hosted a corporate lunch with the CEO of IDA Ireland this month in Palmerstown House. Barry O’Leary addressed over 50 of Kildare’s top companies at the lunch. Barry highlighted recent success stories in Kildare which included the Kerry Group R & D Centre in Naas and the MGS Mfg in Leixlip plant. Foreign Direct Investment is crucial to Kildare and Ireland and Barry discussed in detail the competitive advantages that Kildare has over counties in Ireland.
Companies in attendance included Intel, Pfizer, The K Club, Kildare Village and Kerry Group. President of the Chamber, Niall Browne said ” Kildare has so much to offer for FDI, our talent pool is excellent and the ongoing relationship the Chamber has with NUI Maynooth, National and Local Government is crucial in attracting FDI to Kildare. The links we also have with Enterprise Ireland and IDA is also very important. Allan Shine, CEO of the Chamber said ” The Chamber is here to assist business in Kildare and our mantra is simple – The Chamber is here to assist, maintain, enhance and promote business in Kildare”.
