Last month, after consultation with our membership we submitted our submission on the Kildare- Meath Grid upgrade. The Kildare-Meath Grid Upgrade will help boost economic growth in the area and is essential if Ireland is to meet its renewable energy targets.
We continue to support and work with key stakeholders, local and national government to ensure that businesses can thrive in the best possible environment in Kildare. We are actively reviewing and preparing submissions for Local Area Plans in Kildare along with a submission for the “Review to Renew” – the public consultation on Ireland’s National Development Plan. At this stage, maintaining the NDP’s alignment with the National Planning Framework (NPF/Project 2040) is the primary concern. Areas we consider need strengthening include
