The Maynooth Business Association is hosting a Fashion Show to be held in the Glenroyal Hotel on Wednesday 18th May at 7.00pm in aid of raising money for the implementation of a life saving Defibrillator for the centre of Maynooth town.
Defibrillation is a common treatment for life-threatening cardiac dysrhythmias and ventricular fibrillation.
Why Have a Defibrillator??
Following a Cardiac Arrest the chance of survival decreases by 23% per minute. It is therefore very important medical treatment starts as soon as possible. It is recommended that an Automated External Defibrillator should be available wherever medical treatment is more than 5 minutes away.
Derek from Assets Modelling Agency will be our MC showcasing all the latest fashions from our local boutiques with over 300 people expected to attend. We have invited members from our local groups including Maynooth Tidy Towns, Maynooth Community Council, Bestof Kildare, North Kildare Chamber, Failte Kildare & Kildare County Council. Tickets are on sale in the Glenroyal Hotel. The evening is set to be a big success for not only our fundraising efforts but also for local business.
We are kindly asking local businesses to contribute by donating a spot prize for the raffle that will be held on the night.
