Naas based company Leo Nulty Promotions will once again cover the famous Leinster Trophy meeting at Mondello Park this weekend, with their Irish Motorsport TV brand.
The Leinster Trophy is one of the most famous trophies in Irish Motorsport and has previously been won by such luminaries as Mike Hawthorn, Eddie Jordan, Mika Hakkinen and of course Ayrton Senna, when he visited Mondello back in 1982. Back then, the meeting, as the biggest of the year, was televised live on RTE and became the one everyone wanted to win- in all the classes.
In 2017, Irish Motorsport TV covered all of the Sunday races at the meeting and it was hugely successful, with the coverage reaching almost 150,000 people via various outlets. This weekend, the Kildare based film crew, from Frame It Productions, will again cover the meeting, but this time, the footage will also be shown on Eir Sports. This will expose the competitors, classes and sponsors to a whole new audience of sports fans, as the races are shown alongside Premier League, UFC, GAA, Moto GP and of course Formula 1!
The crew have also recruited experienced presenter Karen Feeney. An former motorsport competitor, she has previously presented such programmes as RPM-Motorsport and is very much looking forward to her new role with Irish Motorsport TV.
Leo Nulty, Owner IrishMotorsport.tv: “I am delighted to have confirmed this exciting deal, which can only help Motorsport in Ireland. Our coverage last year was hugely popular so to move it up a notch for this year is hugely satisfying, and very exciting.”
