The first 6 months has seen a huge increase in businesses joining the Chamber. Over 50 businesses joined in the first 6 months of the year. The Chamber now has a membership close to 400 businesses who in turn employ in excess of 37,000 employees.
We feel that the Chamber is an inclusive, active business organisation and here are the main reasons why companies continue to join:

- Business Growth Support – Online certificate of origins for exporters, one stop shop for advice and an organisation affiliated to Chambers Ireland (Ireland’s Largest Business Organisation)
- Proactive Lobbying- The Chamber is represented on all strategic policy committees in Kildare County Council, represented on Kildare Wicklow Education Training Board, Kildare Local Employment Service Network , Advisory Board of the Irish Institute of Training and Development, Advisory Board in Maynooth University and Kildare Local Development Committee.
