To coincide with the opening night of The Far of Hills, Riverbank Arts Centre will host a wine tasting event on Friday 28th November along with O’Briens Wines of Newbridge.
The play, directed by award winning Mikel Murphi, boasts an all star cast including Steve Blount (Game of Thrones, Moone Boy), Caoimhe O’Malley (Reign, The Country Girls), Julie Sharkey (32A. Dream’s End) and Niamh McGrath (Calvary, Alone It Stands).
The Far of Hills, is a hilarious tale of scheming siblings, love and general jiggery-pokery. Set in a sleepy town in rural Ireland, everything is set to change in the lives of Patrick Clancy and his three daughters. A looming eye operation, a daughter soon to leave for the convent, the arrival of the young and devilishly handsome Pierce Hegarty, the gloomy presence of Harold Mahoney – the biggest moaner in Ireland – ever…
Will the Clancy household be able to withstand the pressure?
This revival of Lennox Robinson’s classic comedy from 1928 is given new life under the direction of award-winning Mikel Murfi (creator of The Man in the Woman’s Shoes).
A slapstick, boisterous production that’ll leave audiences spinning in their seats!
We are offering all Chamber members €10 tickets in conjunction with O’Briens Wines.
Booking via our Box Office on 0454483287
