More than 80 local businesses exhibited at the event on Thursday, May 12th, which was hosted in Sheehy Motors and Audi Naas, in their showroom complex on the Newbridge Road.
Some 1,700 people visited the Expo, estimated Allan Shine, CEO of North Kildare Chamber. The expo now in its third year was a hive of activity with rugby star Dave Kearney and Food Blogger Rosanna Davison both in attendance.
Exhibitors included FAI, The Sammon Group, The K Club, Mondello Park, GUI and Colourtrend.
“What was particularly interesting was that the sense of energy and positivity was so evident,” said Mr Shine.
“The expo is one of the highlights of the year for our membership. It gives the exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their produces and offerings to businesses and the public. Feedback to date has been excellent and already we are looking forward to next year’s expo.
President of the Chamber, Vivian Cummins echoed his sentiments, adding: “We want to do everything we can to promote business in Kildare. Events such as this expo can only be of benefit to business.”
