Irish cloud and connectivity company Viatel have today announced a deal with the world’s largest manufacturer of memory products Kingston Technology. The deal will see the US multinational take substantial managed data centre space and connectivity in Viatel’s state of the art Blanchardstown data centre facility, Kingston will also occupy some office space within the facility to base critical operations.
The Data centre facility will house Kingston’s EMEA cloud computing, data storage and other mission critical digital assets for the next five years with a contract value in excess of €1.4m.
